FiSiCo: Complex Physic

Mission

Welcome in the FiSiCo site. The name is an acronym of the Italian title Fisica dei Sistemi Complessi (physics of complex systems), but fisico means also a physics researcher. We mainly study dynamical and stochastic systems, with applications to Physics, Computer science, Biology, Environmental modeling, Psychology and Neural sciences. The laboratory is located in the department of Energy, via S. Marta 3 Firenze, Italy, but it is essentially a virtual laboratory, since we mainly use computers and the web. The laboratory's goal is twofold: we are performing research activities which reflect also in our teaching courses (those at high level) and the PhD school
